Overview

Plugstation ("we", "our") provides a web app and a browser extension to help you manage inventory and list items on platforms such as Vinted. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Data collected by the Plugstation extension

The Plugstation browser extension may access and use the following when you use it on Vinted:

• Cookies and local storage on vinted.co.uk and vinted.com so the extension can keep you signed in and pre-fill listing details from your Plugstation account.
• Data you choose to send — for example, listing text, photos, and item details — when you use the extension to create or manage listings on Vinted.

This data is used only to connect your Plugstation account with Vinted and to support listing and management features. We do not read or store your general browsing history outside of these actions.

Web app: data we collect

When you use the Plugstation website and app we collect and process:

• Account data — email, name, and (if you sign up with email) a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and name from Google and associate them with your Plugstation account.
• Inventory and listings — items you add, photos you upload (stored via our storage provider), prices, and listing content you create or we generate for you.
• Payment and billing — we use Stripe for subscriptions. Stripe processes payment details; we store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status so we can enforce limits and allow you to manage billing in the Stripe Customer Portal.
• Vinted connection — if you connect Vinted (via the extension or in-app flow), we store encrypted session data and connection state so we can list on your behalf when you choose.

We use this data to run the service, enforce subscription limits, process uploads and listings, and improve the product. We do not sell it.

How data is sent and stored

Data from the extension is sent to Plugstation over HTTPS. It is associated with your Plugstation account and is used to sync listings, preferences, and connection status. We store only what is needed to provide the service (e.g. connection state, listing drafts, and account linkage). Web app data (account, inventory, uploads) is stored in our database and, for uploaded images, in our storage provider. We do not sell this data.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and local storage only where necessary to run the service:

• Session and authentication — so you stay signed in (e.g. NextAuth session cookie).
• Preferences — for example, sidebar open/closed state so the interface behaves as you expect.

We do not use non-essential cookies or third-party trackers for advertising. If we introduce optional analytics or similar tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent before using them.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or any data collected via the extension to third parties. Data is used only to operate Plugstation and to improve our product and support.
